NinjaTrader splits with Alpha Futures over invoice dispute; Prop Firm Match delists Alpha, firm pays first payout batch

NinjaTrader terminated its partnership with Alpha Futures over a disputed unpaid invoice, days after Alpha launched a competing platform, AlphaTrader. Alpha's Premium Plan became unviable and was closed; Alpha initially converted affected traders' earned payouts into refunds instead of paying them out, which got it delisted by Prop Firm Match. On July 15 Alpha reversed course and paid an initial 10% batch of outstanding payouts. As of July 25, no further batches or a relisting have been confirmed. Full timeline on our Investigations page.

Tradeify eliminates subscription pricing, tightens some drawdown limits in "3.0" overhaul

Tradeify moved evaluation accounts from a monthly subscription to a one-time payment model, added Rithmic and a new TradingView-based platform (Tradesea), and tightened the Lightning Funded 150K trailing drawdown from $6,000 to $5,250 for new purchases. Co-founder Vinan Mistry said the pricing change barely moved revenue.

Funding Pips launches PRIME scaling program

Funding Pips launched PRIME, a new tier for consistently profitable traders offering a 70% split, uncapped daily reward requests, and scaling from $400K up to $2M allocation. The firm says it replaces a prior pattern where winning traders were forced to restart. On July 8, Funding Pips separately raised its maximum single-account allocation from $300K to $400K.

A federal judge dismissed the CFTC's case after a Special Master found the agency acted in bad faith, misrepresenting a routine $31.55M CAD tax payment as evidence of asset dissipation. The CFTC was sanctioned over $3M in fees and costs.
